(1/20/1940 - Present). Both of Mike's parents were born in Bismark, North Dakota.
Mike and Vicki met while they were both in Pharmacy School at the University of
Minnesota. Mike graduated with a Dr. of Pharmacy degree.

Obituary for Rosalie:
Rites for Former Monroe Resident Held in Minnesota
Monroe City, Mo. -- Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Nov. 5 at
9:30 a.m. in the Annunciation Catholic Church in Mineapolis, Minn., for Mrs. Lawrence
Carlson, 57, a former resident of the Monroe area. The Rev. Paul Dudley officiated
and interment was in Resurrection Cemetery there.
Casketbearers were: James Olson, George Carlson, Larry Campion,
John Scanlon, Cliff Steinhauser and Michael Evans.
Mrs. Carlson died at 1:15 a.m. Nov. 2 in a hospital in Minneapolis
where she had been a patient for one month. She had been ill since April.
The former Mary Rosalie Jarboe, daughter of James A. and Gertrude Bell
Jarboe, was born near St. Anthony, N.D. on March 31, 1906. At the age of four, she
moved with her parents to their original farm home near Old Clinton in Monroe County.
She attended rural Wright school and following her graduation from the
Stoutsville High School, she attended the University of Missouri at Columbia for two
years. She later attended the Chillicothe Business College at Chillicothe.
Following her graduation she accepted a position in the Treasury Department in
Washington, D. C. She was married June 16, 1930 to Lawrence Carlson of Minneapolis,
Minn. by the Rev. Edward Connolly in the Holy Rosary Church in Monroe City.
Survivors include her husband, and their only child, a son, Lawrence
LaMont Carlson; five grandchildren; seven sisters, Mrs. Charles (Bernadette) Kelly and
Mrs. Clifford (Josephine) Gander both of Monroe City, Mrs. Otis (Frances) Buckman,
Shelbina, Miss Anna Lou Jarboe, Excelsior Springs, Mrs. Della Ream, Kansas City, Mrs.
Orville (Lillian) Hagan, Sequin, Tex., and Mrs. Gerald (Kathleen) Montgomery of St. Louis.
Attending the funeral services from Missouri were: Mr. and Mrs.
Charles Kelly, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Gander, Mr. and Mrs. Otis Buckman, Mr. and Mrs.
Gerald Montgomery, miss Jarboe, James A. Buckman and Guy Buckman of Monroe City and Mr.
and Mrs. Kenneth White of Hannibal.
