Alice Bell Gander

Wilbur Joel Dobson
8/27/1947 - Present
Joel is the son of Floyd and Virginia Eddy Dobson. The Dobsons lived
in the small Adirondack town of Port Henry, New York on Lake Champlain. Virginia
Eddy (6/30/1910 - 2/26/1996) was a second cousin to the singer Nelson Eddy. Floyd
Dobson (6/5/1905 - 12/29/1997) sold John Hancock insurance, built and operated vacation
camps on their property on Lake Champlain and was active on the school board and volunteer
fire department. The Dobsons had three other children all older than Joel:
Mary Janet Dobson Nerrie, Clark Dobson, Helen Sarah Dobson Bowen.
Alice and Joel have both worked for Michelin North America since 1979 and
live in South Carolina. They spend their free time landscaping their yard and
traveling. Their "family" consists of two cats, Andy and
Ophelia.
