Elizabeth Ketsenburg is the daughter of Julius and Opal (Berry) Ketsenburg.  The Ketsenburgs owned a farm just a mile south of the Cliff Gander farm where Don grew up.

After a 22+ year career in the US Airforce, the family has settled on the farm originally owned by Don's grandfather Harvey S. Gander.  In fact, Don was born in the very house he now lives in.
